Marina Golf Mojácar is easily the most improved golf course in Almería right now. After a period of underinvestment that left the course in a poor state, they are finally pouring serious capital into its revival. On a “Scout Score,” I’d give the current condition a solid 3.5/5, but that number is rising fast. The brand-new tee boxes, an upgraded buggy fleet, a recently opened clubhouse, and a completely overhauled sprinkler system are already making a massive difference. Between the spectacular coastal views and the great location, this is the one course in Almería I would confidently invest my time and money in.

One insider tip: Be sure to check the schedule for society days when booking. Societies can easily push round times up to 5 hours. You can easily avoid getting stuck behind them by asking the pro shop about their tee times when you make your reservation.
