Leave the driver in the bag more often than you think. This course rewards strategy and positioning. Bring extra balls if it's your first visit because the valleys and ravines can be punishing.

Don't be fooled by the relatively short scorecard. The constant elevation changes make La Envía play much longer than the yardage suggests. A buggy is worth considering, especially in summer. Many regular visitors describe it as one of the most enjoyable layouts in Almería, even if the fairways can occasionally show the effects of the dry climate.
